It consists of a pressure cell as a sensor and an integrated measuring transducer.
The sensor is an economical ceramic cell with a temperature compensated measuring bridge using the thick-film technology.
It is protected from damage due to its non-flush construction and is built extremely robustly.
The pressent pressure is indicated in the display and is edited as an analog signal (0/4 to 20 mA or 0/2 to 10 V).
In addition, if limit values which can be set by the user, are fallen below or exceeded, this can be signalized by means of two switching outputs and a red LED.
Due to the rotatability of the complete upper part of the housing it is possible to adjust display and cable outlet infinitely and precisely.
By turning the programming ring to the right or to the left, it the parameters (e.g. switching point, hysteresis...) can be changed easily.
In order to protect from unintended programming it can be removed and be remounted, turned about face or completely be removed like a key.
