For agricultural measuring nets for consulting and research a modular registration of data is substantial. For advising and decision about the use of preventative and curative media (e.g. funigicides) often the registration of temperature, rel. humidity, precipitation, radiation (differentiation day/night) and leaf wetness is sufficient. For decisions about irrigation, in addition, information about the soil conditions by means of soil humidity and soil temperature sensors is important. For science and research further information can get important: for examination of drying behaviour measuring fields with several leaf wetness sensors are installed, for irrigation analysis various parts of the soil will be equipped with soil humidity sensors.
