Oil thickness measuring device
For the simple measurement of the thickness of oil or solvents
After an automatic selftest the probe is led down via the supplied cable duct. When immersing into a non-conducting liquid, a light and a buzzer are switched on, when immersing into water, light and sound are periodically interrupted.

All depths with changes from air or between the various liquids can be read off on the measuring cable. So the thickness of a floating oil layer results for example from the difference of the first two values measured. Also the thickness of a layer of a liquid sunken down due to its higher specifical weight can be evaluated in one step by leading down the probe to the ground.
