The long-range Omni antenna is installed in conjunction with the long-range wireless repeater (art.no. 7654) to retransmit data over greater distances than a wireless repeater with a dipole antenna (integrated in all of the DAVIS remote weather stations).
The long-range wireless repeater requires two antennas, one for receiving the data of the weather station and the other one for re-transmitting the data.
The Yagi antenna can be paired with another Yagi antenna or an Omni antenna (art.no. 7656).
The Yagi antenna is a standard 11 dBi directional antenna (sends and receives data to/from one direction, but has got a higher distance range than an OMNI antenna) that is equipped with an integrated reverse polarity TNC male connector being connected to the long-range wireless repeater connector.
