The long-range Omni antenna is installed in conjunction with the long-range wireless repeater (art.no. 7654) to retransmit data over greater distances than a wireless repeater with a dipole antenna (integrated in all of the DAVIS remote weather stations).
The long-range wireless repeater requires two antennas, one for receiving the data of the weather station and the other one for re-transmitting the data.
The Omni antenna can be paired e.g. with another Omni antenna or a Yagi antenna (art.no. 7660).
The Omni antenna is a standard 5 dBi omni-directional antenna (transmits and receives data from all directions) that is equipped with an integrated reverse polarity TNC male connector for being connected to the long-range wireless repeater connector.
