Measures the skin damaging part of the UV spectrum (UVA and UVB). Enables to indicate the UV index, the dose rate and the daily and accumulated dose of radiation. Multi-layer filter provides a spectral range that closely matches the Erythema Action Spectrum. The new comb structure provides excellent cosine response at zenith angles up to 90°. Two-piece housing minimizes the radiation heating, allows a convection cooling of the sensor and prevents the trapping of water or dust.
